Judging by the current build, Freedom Planet 2 is shaping very nicely indeed. We highly recommend playing through the level with each character, as each one makes the same level feel like a significantly different experience (we’d recommend leaving Lilac The Dragon last though as her abilities feel a little overpowered and it makes the game a little too easy.) The Current Alpha Demo features one huge level with a vast array of possible routes, a boss fight and all four playable heroines. All of the other characters abilities have been refined too, and crucially, each one is just as fun as the other to play as (there’s no Big The Cat here). The original’s all female character roster of Lilac, Carol and Milla are joined by Neera the Frost Knight, who has some (literally) super cool moves of her own that make her just as fun to play as her companions. As well as receiving a serious bump in resolution, it features an item based flexible difficulty system, fully reworked character models, the ability to parry attacks, the ability to instantly revive with limited health (at the cost of a life) and four playable characters. Freedom Planet 2 is a fantastic looking follow up to the critically acclaimed original which featured fast paced action platforming that put a certain blue hedgehog to shame.įreedom Planet 2 continues the fast paced momentum focused gameplay of the original, but adds a whole lot more.

Text annotation refers to adding relevant information about the language data by adding labels or metadata. Otherwise, the gaps will create IoU (Intersection over Union) discrepancies and your model might not perform at its optimum level.ĭata annotation is also essential in tasks related to Natural Language Processing (NLP). The edges of bounding boxes ought to touch the outermost pixels of the labeled object. The bounding box involves drawing a rectangle around a certain object in a given image. Now, let’s explore and understand the different types of image annotation methods. □ Pro tip: Check out AI in Healthcare and AI in Insurance to learn more about AI applications in those industries. Those datasets are then used to build AI-enabled systems like self-driving cars, skin cancer detection tools, or drones that assess the damage and inspect industrial equipment. Image annotation is often used to create training datasets for the learning algorithms. □ Pro tip: Check out 13 Best Image Annotation Tools to find the annotation tool that suits your needs. In V7, you can also annotate the image using tools such as keypoint, 3D cuboids, polyline, keypoint skeleton, and a brush. It involves creating bounding boxes (for object detection) and segmentation masks (for semantic and instance segmentation) to differentiate the objects of different classes. It ensures that a machine learning algorithm recognizes an annotated area as a distinct object or class in a given image. Image annotation is the task of annotating an image with labels. Here are various types of data annotation and their characteristics. In machine learning, the task of data annotation usually falls into the category of supervised learning, where the learning algorithm associates input with the corresponding output, and optimizes itself to reduce errors. On the other hand, annotating text data largely encompasses adding relevant information, such as metadata, and assigning them to a certain class. Ready to streamline AI product deployment right away? Strawberries are very susceptible to frosts in the spring. Overfertilization will cause excessive vegetative growth, reduce yields increase losses from frost and foliar disease and result in winter injury. This application is made to keep the plants in a vigorous condition and to promote new growth causing the development of more fruit buds. Water the fertilizer in to get it down to the root zone. After the first harvest in the second season strawberries should be fertilized after renovation in July. Fertilizationīefore planting apply one pound per 100 square feet of a 10-10-10 fertilizer and dig into soil at least six to eight inches deep. Strawberries need about one inch of water per week during the growing season. These plants could harbor verticillium wilt, a serious strawberry disease. Do not plant strawberries where peppers, tomatoes, eggplant and potatoes have been grown. They need full sun for the highest yields, at least 6 hours per day. Strawberries prefer a well drained soil, high in organic matter. Strawberries are among the most widely grown fruit in the home garden. Removing the flowers promotes root and runner development thereby insuring a large crop the following year.įor everbearing and day-neutral strawberries, remove the flowers until the end of June and then after that date allow the flowers to remain to set fruit for a summer/fall harvest. Blossom Removalĭuring the first growing season, remove flowers of June-bearing strawberries as soon as they appear. During the first two or three weeks of growth, the planting should be weeded then the bed should be mulched. Plants are set about one foot apart in multiple rows. Multiple rows are arranged in groups of two, three or four plants with a two foot walkway between each group of rows. Removing the runners causes the mother plant to develop more crowns and flower stalks. In this system all the runners are removed so only the original mother plant remains. This is the best system for growing day-neutral and everbearing strawberries. Even though more care is needed under this system, advantages include higher yields, larger berries and fewer disease problems. All other runners are pulled or cut from the mother plants. The daughter plants are spaced to root no closer than four inches apart. The mother plants are set eighteen to thirty inches apart in rows three to four feet apart. This system limits the number of daughter plants that grow from a mother plant. Daughter plants are allowed to root freely to become a matted row no wider than two feet. In this system, the strawberry plants should be set eighteen to thirty inches apart in rows three to four feet apart. This system is the best for growing June-bearing cultivars. The plant on the left is set too shallow the plant on the right too deep. The center plant is set correctly, with the soil just covering the tops of the roots. After four or five weeks, the plants will produce runners and new daughter plants. Set the strawberry plant in the soil so that the soil is just covering the tops of the roots. Try to plant strawberries on a cloudy day or during the late afternoon. This is usually in March or April allowing the plants to become well established before the hot weather arrives. Plant strawberries as soon as the ground can be worked in the spring. *N = adapted to region north of Interstate 80 C = adapted to region between Interstate 80 and Interstate 70 S = adapted to region south of Interstate 70. They can also be used as an edging plant or a groundcover. They can be grown in terraced beds, barrels or pyramids. These strawberries produce just a few runners.Įverbearing and day neutral strawberries are great for gardeners who have limited space. Everbearers do not produce many runners.ĭay neutral strawberries will produce fruit throughout the growing season. They are classified into early, mid-season and late varieties.Įverbearing strawberries produce three periods of flowers and fruit during the spring, summer and fall. June-bearers produce flowers, fruits and runners. June bearing strawberries produce a crop during a two-to-three week period in the spring. Fruits of day neutral plants and everbearers are usually smaller than June-bearers fruit. June bearing or spring bearing, everbearing and day neutral are the three types of strawberries grown in Illinois. If left untreated multiple fractures may occur in the spine. In many cases vertebral compression fractures can be obscure and go unnoticed. Whereas patients that have no presence of osteoporosis require severe trauma such as a car accident or a fall from height. In patients that have moderate osteoporosis, fractures can occur with low velocity trauma such as falling from a chair or lifting a heavy object. In the presence of severe osteoporosis theses fracture can occur during the most unassuming things for example lifting a small object, a vigorous sneeze/cough or turning in bed. The majority of compression fractures occur between T12 and L2 due to the forces exerted. In very rare cases bowel or bladder incontinence is possible if the fracture has affected the nerves that control these functions, however, in my experience I have never seen this and I’ve personally seen hundreds of compression fractures. You may find difficulty walking or standing and very rarely you might experience numbness or tingling in the arms or legs. Patients mostly complain of back pain after trauma such as a fall. Sometimes compression fractures are also called anterior wedge fractures, wedge fractures, collapsed vertebrae, osteoporotic vertebral fracture, or occasionally patients describe having a “crumbling spine” which is a term we don’t recommend is used. Typically, compression fractures can occur through trauma, infection, poor bone density or cancer. However, men over the age of 65 are also at risk of compression fracture. Often it is a complication secondary to osteoporosis and the risk of fracture increases with age, being female and post-menopausal. A compression fracture occurs when one or more of the bones in your spine (vertebrae) collapse or become compressed due to injury or bone weakness. Vertebral compression fractures are fairly common fractures in older adults with osteoporosis, mostly seen in the junction of the thoracic and lumbar spine. 26 Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have been shown to significantly increase gastrointestinal bleeding in the elderly and must be used with caution.5 Best Exercises following Vertebral Fracture 25 Muscle relaxants, external back-braces, and physical therapy modalities also may help. Calcitonin-salmon (Miacalcin) nasal spray can be used for treatment of pain. If bowel sounds and flatus are not present, the patient may require evaluation and treatment for ileus. Oral or parenteral analgesics may be administered for pain control, with careful observation of bowel motility. Prolonged inactivity should be avoided, especially in elderly patients. Patients are treated with a short period (no more than a few days) of bedrest. Traditional treatment is nonoperative and conservative. Fortunately, compression fractures are normally stable secondary to their impacted nature. A stable fracture will not be displaced by physiologic forces or movement. The physician must first determine if the fracture is stable or unstable. Family physicians can help patients prevent compression fractures by diagnosing and treating predisposing factors, identifying high-risk patients, and educating patients and the public about measures to prevent falls. Interventional procedures such as vertebroplasty can be considered in those patients who do not respond to initial treatment. Traditional conservative treatment includes bed rest, pain control, and physical therapy. While the diagnosis can be suspected from history and physical examination, plain roentgenography, as well as occasional computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, are often helpful in accurate diagnosis and prognosis. More severe fractures can cause significant pain, leading to inability to perform activities of daily living, and life-threatening decline in the elderly patient who already has decreased reserves. Vertebral compression fractures usually are caused by osteoporosis, and range from mild to severe. Compression fracture of the vertebral body is common, especially in older adults. It might be tempting to perform Colour to Transparency, however this would also change semi-transparent areas within the desired image area. The right thing to do now is Select → By Colour. However, one can also use the eyedropper tool to pick a colour from anywhere on the desktop. Here, I used f3f3e9 as a background colour for plain colour filling. (In this respect, Adobe Photoshop is no different.) Hence, choose a colour which is compatible with the background on which the resulting picture will eventually be used.Ĭlick on the background colour rectangle in the upper half of the Tool Options toolbox window to change the background colour. Some colour mixing will be inevitable and even desired. Do select BG colour fill and Sample merged and run a few tries while adjusting Threshold for best results. Within the Bucket Fill toolbox options, select Fill transparent areas only when necessary. The next step is optional and consist in filling the area that should become transparent with a plain colour. This is done by selecting Layer → Tranparency → Add Alpha Channel. If this is the case, add an alpha transparency channel. Some image types lack a transparency channel JPG for example. So instead so using the Dog image as the top layer, I created a layer with pure red, ff0000.Note: This tutorial is also available in PDF. Then I had the idea that using one image to erase colors on the other one was making it too complicated for seeing what is going on. A precise color match would, at the very least, mean the 6 hexadecimal digits for the RGB match precisely, otherwise nothing is erased. 4 channels at 8 bits each gives you 32 bits, so we call these 32-bit color. 16 x 16 = 256, and we know that it is handled in binary mathematics by one 8-bit byte. Recall that digital images are defined by numbers that express the Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha, and each number is composed of two hexadecimal digits. I think there is something going on involving the numbers here. I don’t think it is as simple as just looking for a color match between the two images. Now the problem I have with this mode is that the GIMP team has not gotten around to documenting it, so I was not (at first) certain exactly how this color erase really works. I then reduced the opacity of this top layer to 75%, and got an image with the bottom showing up through the top. I selected my top layer, the Dog photo, and left it in Normal mode. It is worth noting that this mode, like many of the Layer modes, can also be applied to Brushes which allows you to use it just in certain areas, but first let’s discuss doing it as a Layer mode. This mode dissolves the Top layer into the Bottom layer by means of partial transparency. And if we reduced the opacity of the Top layer or added some areas of transparency, then of course some of the Bottom layer would show through, but none if it comes through solely because of the Layer mode. If the Top layer was smaller than the Bottom layer, the areas not covered by the Top layer would show through. So the result is a nice picture of a dog. This means that the Top layer will entirely cover the Bottom layer in the resulting image because there is no transparency in the Top layer. And note that the Mode selected is Normal. Here we see the layers open in GIMP in the order I specified. How can I get emotional help if I’m suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum? But the sooner you get medical help, the lower these risks are. Some evidence suggests particularly severe cases could mean women having their baby prematurely or a baby with a low birth weight (Gross et al, 1989 Dodds et al, 2006 Veenendaal et al, 2011). Will hyperemesis gravidarum affect my baby? This allows women to take their fluids intravenously and receive anti-emetics via injections (RCOG, 2016b NHS Choices, 2018). If medication really isn’t working, women can be admitted to hospital. But due to the seriousness of hyperemesis gravidarum, the benefits might outweigh the potential risks (Pregnancy Sickness Support, 2018). This is because pregnant women are usually excluded from drug trials or possible risks (Einarson, 2004 Anderka et al, 2012 Danielsson et al, 2014 Pasternak et al, 2014 Fejzo et al, 2016). Other medications out there can tackle hyperemesis gravidarum but many are not licensed in pregnancy. Following that, steroids can be another option (Pregnancy Support Sickness (PSS) and the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), 2015). You’d receive this medication alongside a laxative as one of its side effects is extreme constipation (Pregnancy Support Sickness (PSS) and the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), 2015). If that doesn’t do the trick, your doctor will move on to an anti-sickness (anti-emetic) drug called ondansetron. If you’re suffering, you’ll likely be given vitamin B6 as well as anti-histamines as a first port of call (RCOG, 2016b NHS Choices, 2018). They can even be used during the first 12 weeks (NHS Choices, 2018). If you’re suffering, you’ll be glad to know some medications can help improve symptoms and can be used during pregnancy (RCOG, 2016b). How can hyperemesis gravidarum betreated? Women with trophoblastic disease – an extremely rare condition that involves abnormal growth of cells inside the uterus – can also be more likely to get HG (Sheffield Department of Gynaecology, 2011). Having had hyperemesis gravidarum during a previous pregnancy, being overweight, a first pregnancy and having a multiple pregnancy can increase your chances of getting HG. Hyperemesis gravidarum affects an estimated 1% to 3% of pregnant women (RCOG, 2016a). Women whose mums or sisters suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum are also more susceptible to it so there is a genetic factor at play too (McCarthy et al, 2014 Pregnancy Support Sickness (PSS) and the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), 2015). Hyperemesis gravidarum has also been linked to a bacterial infection of the stomach (Verberg et al, 2005 Cardaropoli et al, 2014 Li et al, 2015). They are serum HCG – a hormone produced during pregnancy, and the corpus luteum – a hormone-secreting structure that develops in an ovary when it releases an egg (Verberg et al, 2005). It’s likely to be down to several factors related to the hormonal changes that happen during pregnancy.ĭuring the first trimester of pregnancy, two things could play a part. Get ready to be very, very sympathetic to friends who go through this. Symptoms will last until around 20 weeks or maybe even for the duration of pregnancy (NHS Choices, 2018). But with hyperemesis gravidarum, symptoms will become much more severe. Symptoms will most likely start in the first six weeks when you’ll probably just think you’re experiencing ‘normal’ morning sickness (NHS Choices, 2018). It can even cause the production of ketones, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic imbalances and difficulty doing your normal everyday tasks (Sheffield Department of Gynaecology, 2011). Hyperemesis gravidarum means you are unable to take in food and fluid and can suffer fatigue, dehydration and weight loss (HER foundation, 2018). "Described as unrelenting and excessive nausea and vomiting, it can make women sick up to 50 times a day (Sheffield Department of Gynaecology, 2011)." AstroAI's cordless tire inflator charges fast (within 4 hours) and is conveniently portable, ideal for off-grid inflation. AstroAI's top-selling air compressor works well with general cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and air mattresses. What size air compressor do I need ? It depends on the air compressor and vehicle mode. The pressure builds up and inflates the object to the desired level.Ĥ. It is powered by electricity from a car's cigarette lighter, lithium battery, or a standard household outlet. When this compressed air is released in a quick burst, kinetic energy is released. The machine converts electrical power into potential energy by compressing and pressurizing air. How do air compressors work ? AstroAI Tire Air Pumps work by pressurizing atmospheric air and forcing it into various inflatables. An electric air compressor is the emission-free version of an air compressor. When the compressor inflates to the preset pressure, the pump automatically shuts off.ģ. The tire inflator forces more and more air into inflatables like car tires or sports equipment, increasing the object's pressure. What is an air compressor ? AstroAI car tire air pumps are pneumatic devices that use power generated by an engine to pressurize atmospheric air. Fifth: Press the 'start' button to inflate your tire.Ģ. Got store credit so spent an hour shopping for enough items to spend my store credit on and after coming out of the dressing room the attendant had ripped the tags off my items!! So again Im dealing with the manager who acts like I am doing something wrong again and tells me he will hold my items and call me the next day. Had 20 minute difficulty retuning an item with the manager because of something the cashier did but he acted like I did something wrong. It is a nightmare even trying to explain. THE WORST customer service experience I have ever encountered. Salvation Army will be getting all of our gently used items from now on. So guess what? No more purchases, and hell no more donations. But I have spent hundreds of dollars in that store, and just last year, we donated well over $7,000.00 to that exact location. Now, I understand that there are people in the world who take complete advantage of the system, so I get the automatic response. Even though I HAD THE TAG THAT THEY SCANNED, the receipt, and the dress, and the security guard had seen me walk in with it, she refused to return the dress that had been purchased less than 24 hours before. The supervisor came over and immediately told me that they could not return it. So directly after work today (I work at an elementary school) I went up and told them the story. He went to return it last night, but they were already closed. So as he was trying it on, or taking it off, the flimsy tag mustve come off. Of course, he bought an extra small, which did not quite fit his 511" frame. He bought it at 5:15 pm yesterday evening. My 16 year old son bought a dress to wear as part of a knight costume. The return policy says an item cannot be returned with the tag off. And really, its just the principle of the thing. I just had the worst customer service experience at my neighborhood Goodwill on 122nd and Halsey. At least theres 10,000 more of them in Portland to choose from. I wont be coming back here for a longgggg time. We simply could not deal with her terrible attitude any more and after talking with a security guard as we left he apologized for her behavior and admitted to knowing of her complete lack of customer service skills, as we are not the only ones to have complained. Oh, and the manager on duty (Hispanic, older lady) was so rude that only 2 minutes after my daughters mother went into the dressing room, she decided to leave and we left our full cart of items in the store leaving empty handed. So I grabbed a chair anyways and sat to wait for my girlfriend to try her clothes on. I explained that I had 3 surgeries and asked if I could grab a chair from the furniture "department" to which she looked at me and ignored before walking away. This is where I was laughed at for asking if I could grab a chair because of my knee pain and after softly laughing she told me there were no chairs for me to sit and wait on. We stopped to be polite and resumed to the dressing rooms. As we did so (uninterruptingly in the back of the store), the MOD came up and sourly told us that the store was closing in 40 minutes and that we needed to hurry up. If you want to go shopping where some of the staff will follow you around the store and talk amongst each other about keeping a watchful eye on you without any discretion as to who can hear it, come to this Goodwill! My 33 week pregnant girlfriend dressed up in a random, silly, Halloween costume and wanted me to take pictures with my phone. The staff currently in place, for the most part, are very obviously not concerned with customer service or representing their company in a positive light. clearing debris from the highway to improve traffic flow and prevent future incidentsĬDOT is proud to offer this service to all motorists.
